About Ellie
I recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class Bachelor of Arts with honours in French and Italian with advanced proficiency in Spanish and distinction in spoken Italian. My degree consisted of 3 taught years in Exeter, and a year abroad in Italy, where I taught CLIL (content and language integrated learning) in a liceo. During my final year, I mentored first year students of Italian, understanding their needs and developing lessons based on this. I am now looking to continue mentoring, with a view to undertake a PGCE in the near future. Language is my passion, and I would love to share it with you. Over the course of my time at university, I have developed some great techniques that make language learning not just easier, but more fun. Let me explain grammar to you in a way that no one else has before. Perhaps you need someone to tell you once and for all when to use the subjunctive (and what the hell it is!), perhaps you need to brush up on your conversational skills, or perhaps you’re completely new to Italian.
