About Nathan
In my first Math Ext 1 assessment, I was at the bottom of the cohort. I struggled to keep up, and every test made me feel like I just wasn’t “good” at math. But by Year 12, I ranked 1st in Math Ext 1 and Math Ext 2. I wasn’t the smartest. I just figured out a system to improve, one that works for anyone willing to put in the effort. I also ranked 1st in Chemistry, PDHPE, and English, proving that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. I completed Mathematics Advanced in Year 11, scoring 98/100, and went on to achieve 95/100 in Math Ext 1 in Year 12. What did I do? I stopped memorizing formulas and started understanding why they worked. I broke down past mistakes and studied my weaknesses rather than repeating what I already knew. I developed exam skills so I could finish faster, more accurately, and with confidence. Now, I help students do the same.
