Maths:
Depending on the students' preference, we can go through a topic from the very beginning, I explain the basic principles, show them some examples and go through some textbook questions to get the basics right from the start. Then once they feel more confident we start looking at exam questions and breaking them down.
Alternatively, if a student is happy with the basics of a topic we can start with exam questions straight away.
Chemistry:
Notes on the topic will be provided and explained in the first half of the lesson and the second half will focus on answering exam questions. The style of question for LC chemistry has been relatively consistent in past papers so practicing exam questions is really worthwhile to both cement the content of the notes but also to get to grips with the answering style and understanding the exam paper.
