About Sian
- My name is Sian, I currently am studying History at the University of Cambridge. After I achieve my bachelor's degree, I hope to become a History teacher. Tutoring will allow me to gain crucial experience for my future career path!
- I am confident that whilst working together, you will develop confidence in your historiographical ability when writing essays. Furthermore, we will work together to ensure the tutoring journey will be deeply fulfilling. If you are interested in specific historical moments and eras, we can definitely discuss those! I aim to ensure history remains enjoyable to learn and discuss, rather than being something one must simply memorise.

- My tutoring will mainly be structured around whatever works best for you! I am capable of delivering lessons structured around examination technique and focusing upon past papers, mark schemes etc. If you prefer a conversational approach to tutoring (in which we recall facts, discuss different topics and how one would approach an essay) we can also incorporate that.
Ideally, I will balance both elements of tutoring so that we can explore aspects of topics that interest you, whilst also working towards the end goal of examinations.
- Lessons will be 1 - 2 hours.
- I am available to tutor GCSE students or A-level students of History.
- No prior experience as a tutor.
