Emulating exam-style conditions is key to building confidence to sit these exams. Before we tackle new topics together, I will go through the relevant GCSE Syllabus and Specification points so that the student knows exactly what the exam board is asking for. After covering the topic, we will practice with exam-style questions from the exam-board and go through the mark scheme points together. This will quickly boost scores and confidence.
Typically, weekly lessons are 1hr long. However, I can do longer if that is what the student wishes.
I have 4 A*s at A-level (biology, chemistry, physics, maths) 11 grade 9s at GCSE (further maths A^). Having sat this new style of public exams myself, I better understand what is required in them and how to excel in them- I am able to pass it on to my students.
