About Christyn
Hi, I’m Christyn!
I’m a 2nd year Medical student at the University of Oxford. I received all four of my Medicine offers from Oxford, Imperial, King’s and BSMS, so I’ve experienced several very different admissions and interview processes myself.
Since then, I’ve really enjoyed helping other students through the same process. I try to be the person I would have wanted when I was applying: someone approachable who you can ask anything, but who will also be honest about where you can improve and push you to make your application as strong as possible.
We’ll work together towards your individual goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Having recently been through the Medicine application process myself, I know how daunting it can be and how difficult it is to know what advice to follow.
My sessions are tailored to you and the universities you’re applying to. I can support you with:
• UCAT preparation – developing a strategy for each section, identifying weaker areas and improving both speed and accuracy
• Personal statements – developing your ideas and helping you communicate your experiences effectively while keeping the application authentic to you
• MMI & traditional interviews – mock interviews, detailed feedback and practice approaching unfamiliar questions with confidence
• Oxford applications – developing the scientific thinking and problem-solving skills needed for Oxford-style interviews
• Application strategy – discussing university choices and approaching each stage of the process strategically
I don’t believe in teaching students scripted interview answers. Instead, we’ll work together to understand why questions are being asked and develop the skills to confidently approach questions you haven’t seen before.
In the 2026 admissions cycle, 80% of my Oxford applicants received offers, alongside students receiving Medicine offers from universities across the UK.
