About Alex
My name is Alex and I'm a 22 year old Biochemistry student studying at Hull University. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to teaching although, i can be quite stern if needed. Outside of teaching I like to be social and I have no issue when it comes to getting to know new people. Since kids, especially boys, like to play video games, I have experience coaching teams in eSports and teaching individuals how to improve. I really like teaching and i think we need to educate younger generations a lot more about science.

I would prefer to teach kids from high school as that is where i aim to teach after i get my degree. I am pretty patient when it comes to teaching so I prefer to take a relaxed way of helping students understand things they have trouble with. I tend to try to find analogies that might help them visualize an atom with electron orbitals for example.
I would like to teach for an hour twice a week. Monday as a general revision lesson with, helping the student understand anything they have trouble with. Then Friday as a lesson on going over the respective subject lessons from school and anything they dont understand from the past school week since the Monday lesson.
