About Isabella
Hi! I’m Isabella, a Law with Criminology student at the University of Sheffield, currently going into my third year.
I studied Law at A-Level before continuing the subject at university, so I understand both the course itself and the jump from A-Level to degree-level Law. Having been an A-Level student fairly recently, I know how challenging it can be to remember all the cases, legislation and legal principles while also learning how to apply them properly in exams.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable telling me when they don’t understand something or asking me to explain it in a different way. I particularly enjoy breaking complicated legal concepts down into simpler explanations and helping students build confidence in their knowledge.
Alongside my degree, I have experience working with and training younger members of staff, which has helped me develop a patient and adaptable approach to explaining new information.
My goal is to make A-Level Law feel much more manageable and help students develop the knowledge and exam skills they need to achieve the grades they’re aiming for.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to each student and the areas they would most like to improve. I can help with understanding difficult legal topics, revising key cases and legislation, structuring essay and problem questions, and developing exam technique.
Having studied A-Level Law myself and now studying Law with Criminology at university, I understand how overwhelming the amount of content can sometimes feel. My aim is to break topics down into simple, manageable explanations and then help students learn how to apply their knowledge effectively in exams.
Lessons can focus on specific topics you're struggling with, general revision, practice questions or exam preparation. I can also help with essay structure, applying cases and legislation, and understanding what exam questions are actually asking you to do.
I want my lessons to be a comfortable environment where students can ask as many questions as they need without feeling pressured or judged. Whether you're aiming to improve your grade, prepare for an upcoming exam or simply feel more confident with A-Level Law, lessons will be adapted to suit you.
