About Alexandra
Having recently studied Economics at A Level at Stratford Girls Grammar School, I appreciate the demands of A Level learning and the transition it takes to move on to studying Economics at University level. At A level I developed a passion for the subject, thus I have studied it further at the University of Cardiff and aspire to enhance myself by gaining this teaching experience to take into my future as an Economics teacher.
Having recently studied my A levels I understand the difficulties that are presented to the students. Everyone learns at a different pace, and that is something I look to include in my teaching. Economics was something I worked very hard at, as it is a challenging subject, but if you are willing to work hard it produces a rewarding outcome; it did for me, anyway!

I look to offer a very personal learning experience for the students, with every lesson catered to the needs of the child. I will focus on the topics that the individual student finds most challenging, working together to reach solutions and help the student achieve their goals. I ask that you inform me prior to the lesson which areas you would like to cover so I can prepare the most suitable content. I look to teach all students interested in Economics, but specialize in GCSE/A Level students. The length of the lesson is flexible, typically between 30-60 minutes, however this can be adjusted.
