About David
I have two years of tutoring experience in English as a second language (ESL). I specialize in working with children and young adults at all levels of language proficiency. I provide private lessons that are personalized to my student’s learning needs and interests. I view language as a powerful communication tool and aim to make the process of learning empowering and engaging.
If I could have any superpower, it would be to speak every language in the world. I love meeting people from different cultural backgrounds and communication is an important part of it! I would love to be a part of someone else’s journey in learning English.
I am an undergraduate student at Columbia University in the City of New York, studying comparative literature and society. I am a native English speaker with advanced proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
