About
Certainly! Here's the biography tailored to the first person:
I am Stephane Buck, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and a multifaceted artist with a deep passion for music, songwriting, poetry, and instrumental performance. Currently, I reside in New York City, where my musical journey has continued to evolve since it began at an early age, influenced by my family's love for music and my involvement in the middle school choir.
My father and the church community introduced me to the piano, and it was through them that my passion for music truly blossomed. This passion led me to pursue formal training at one of North Carolina's top performing arts high schools, where I focused primarily on music. During my time there, I discovered my love for teaching, serving as a teacher assistant and music theory tutor for my peers.
After graduating, I furthered my education at Central Piedmont Community College, where I continued to mentor aspiring musicians within the college's music program. My journey then took me to New York City, where I immersed myself in the vibrant music scene, performing my poetry and music at renowned venues such as Mezzrow, Smalls Jazz Club, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
Equipped with a deep understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology, garnered from my participation and certification in the NYVC Teaching Course (2024), I am committed to empowering others to unlock the full potential of their voices. I believe in the transformative power of music, seeing it not only as a source of joy but also as a way to navigate life's challenges.
Today, I thrive as a private music instructor, offering lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and music theory. With a passion for inspiring others and a dedication to my craft, I strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my students and the broader musical community.
