About
Over 20 years teaching guitar to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players.
I hold a university degree in Classical Guitar from the Instituto Superior de Artes (ISA) in Havana, Cuba — the country’s most prestigious music conservatory — with 13 years of intensive classical training.
I love the moment a student plays something and realizes they actually did it. I build every lesson around what the student wants to learn — their favorite songs, their goals, their pace. That makes the process faster and far more enjoyable.
Conservatory-level training meets a fully flexible, student-centered approach. I teach classical, acoustic, electric guitar, and bass — any style, any level — all online via Zoom or Google Meet. No commuting, no rigid method books. Just focused, personalized lessons from a classically trained Cuban musician.
I specialize in ear training and transcription — if you bring me any song, I can teach it immediately, no sheet music needed. I also teach from a composer’s perspective, helping students understand not just how to play, but why music works the way it does.
