About Lucia
I'm a medical student at UEA who is happy to tutor any student. As part of my course, I've had 4yrs of experience as part of PBL explaining different topics or subjects to other students (groups of 10) that we have come across each week. While I can't take credit for them passing as they did most of the work, I have been given feedback from both students and teachers that I have helped clarify complex topic and my teaching style is both varied and effective.

I put a great deal of preparation into deciding the best way to explain a subject and I enjoy being creative and using different methods to help make it understandable and memorable. Methods I have used in the past including hand-drawn diagrams, whiteboard work, verbal explanations, presentations with text and visual aids, abstract demonstrations with people or objects and occasionally a game. I am personally a visual learner but I can easily adapt the style of learning an individual needs. As part of my course, I've also had experience in adjusting both the language and level required to help explain something.
I like to check everyone's understanding as we go along to make sure I've explained everything okay and I am happy to answer questions at any point.
