About Ratish
My name is Ratish and I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. I remember the application process to medicine to be an extremely anxious and nervous time. Fortunately, I was afforded the help of interview preparation and UCAT prep at my school which had helped. Having experienced just how much 1-to-1 can help, it would be great to have the same opportunity to help other students.

Lessons would be held online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Depending on the student's preference, lessons would focus on students' weak areas, for instance certain sections of the UCAT would be revised. Students would be given techniques and methods to answer such questions. I would give them timed questions under supervision, and depending on how they are answered/if there are difficulties, would tailor the revision accordingly. Typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour. I have tutored and helped medicine applicants from my school and have also given lessons to widening-participation students at my university. Lessons would be intended for prospective applicants towards the medicine course, for instance A-level students.
