About Kiah
I am a fashion and costume designer and maker with knowledge in tailoring, embroidery, styling, design and patterning, among many other aspects.
I have a certificate of higher education from UCA in Fashion, and am studying at GBMC in costuming for performance and film.
I have been sewing professionally for over four years and have experience in art and design for 10+ years.

I understand learning a new craft can be challenging, so I am happy to take it at your pace and go over anything again as many times as you need until you feel confident in it. It is a fun and creative subject and it shouldn’t feel like a chore to learn, so if something is frustrating a student, there are lots of other options to work on instead.
We will work at strengthening basic skills and improving understanding until you are confident in your ability.
Whether you are interested in costume or fashion, I have experience in both, and would love to share my knowledge and advice in both designing and making.
