About Robert
I have been a tutor for the past 10 years in all subjects -- English, math, science and history. I am a Massachusetts certified math and English teacher. I have also served as the executive director of several environmental conservation and social service organizations. I hold a B.A. in English & Comparative Literature from Columbia University, and an Associates Degree in Applied Science (A.A.S.) from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. I am a published poet and jazz trumpeter. My approach to tutoring is to be supportive and encouraging, go at the student's speed and help them learn to enjoy learning.
