About Zephyr
With 10 years of experience as a flute tutor, I am passionate about helping students from school to college level learn music in a way that is both effective and enjoyable. My journey with the flute has been filled with learning, practice, and growth, and I am committed to sharing that knowledge with my students.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a diverse group of learners, helping them build their skills step by step and gain confidence in their abilities. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing students overcome challenges, improve their performance, and enjoy playing music.
My teaching approach is clear, patient, and student-centred, where I focus on strong fundamentals such as breathing control, tone production, finger technique, and rhythm. I also make sure that lessons are engaging and interactive so that students remain motivated and interested.
I believe that music education is not just about learning an instrument but also about developing discipline, creativity, and self-confidence. My goal is to guide students in a way that makes learning meaningful and inspiring, helping them build a strong connection with music that lasts a lifetime.

My approach to teaching flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create an effective and enjoyable learning experience. I believe that every student has the ability to learn music when guided properly. I start by understanding the student’s current level and learning pace so I can provide personalised lessons.
I motivate students by encouraging regular practice and celebrating their achievements, which helps them stay focused. Communication plays a key role in my classes, as I explain techniques such as breath control, finger placement, and sound quality in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
With integrity, I guide students honestly and focus on building a strong foundation. I correct mistakes patiently and help them improve step by step. Creativity allows me to design interesting lessons using songs, exercises, and different practice methods.
In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to help students grow as complete musicians.
