About Rlankey
Teaching Spanish has been a rewarding journey throughout my 16 years of tutoring experience. During this time, I have successfully worked with around 150 High School and College students, helping them improve both academically and personally. My teaching philosophy is based on making language learning clear, practical, and enjoyable for every student.
I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through organised lessons that combine theory with practical use. My teaching methods include discussions, conversation practice, reading exercises, vocabulary activities, and regular revision sessions. Students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in every lesson.
I also believe learning a language includes understanding the people and culture behind it. Therefore, I introduce students to Spanish customs, traditions, and everyday communication, making lessons more meaningful and interesting.
One of my greatest achievements has been helping students improve their confidence while achieving better examination results. Watching learners communicate comfortably in Spanish gives me great satisfaction and motivates me to continue providing high-quality education.
My goal is to create a welcoming learning environment where students enjoy every lesson and develop language skills that will support them throughout their academic and professional lives.

I follow a Spanish teaching methodology that focuses on motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management. I motivate students by understanding their goals, celebrating progress, and creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to learn.
Communication is central to my approach; I provide exercises that improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in practical, real-life situations. Creativity is incorporated into every lesson using storytelling, games, role-plays, and visual aids to make learning enjoyable, interactive, and memorable.
Time management allows me to structure lessons efficiently, ensuring grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice are covered without overwhelming students. I also teach students how to manage their own study and practice time for consistent improvement.
In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar fundamentals, pronunciation techniques, and language learning strategies. My aim is to make Spanish learning engaging, structured, and highly effective.
