About Kiana
Kiana has a PhD in performance from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and a master degree in Piano Performance from the Royal College of Music in London. Kiana has recently joined the Junior RNCM keyboard department as a deputy piano teacher. She started her teaching career at the higher education as a teaching assistant at the Royal Northern College of Music where she worked closely with the Deputy Head of Graduate school in giving tuition to postgraduate students, ensuring a high quality teaching in the line with standards of the conservatoire.
Kiana has performed in many venues across United Kingdom and abroad. She is the recipient of several awards including the 1st Prize of the 12th Luigi Zanuccoli International Competition, Italy and the Distinction Award for the concerto competition from the Royal College of Music, London.

Kiana is a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring teacher who has been teaching piano privately for more than 10 years. She has had the privilege of watching her students’ achievements at various national and international events, competitions, conservatoire exams, ABRSM exams including Diplomas. Her teaching methods are designed according to her students' aims, levels and individual learning styles, with many of her students continue their studies at conservatoires across the UK. She is also conscientious about the wellbeing of the students, music performance anxiety (MPA) issues and performance-related injuries. ”
