About Benjamin
Hello! I am Benjamin, an avid guitar player of 12 years who has written and performed various pieces of music in a varied number of styles. I am easy and laid back and aim to bring the same joy of the guitar to others as it has brought me. I have performed with various bands throughout my years and even won a few battle of the bands in my time in my local community in Nairobi, Kenya.
I performed with a local group in Norway for a year and learnt a lot about music production as well as different techniques.
I work as well so my availability depends on location and timing. I am most available at the weekends, but based on proximity and I can do weekday's in the evening.

So when it comes to learning the guitar, I find most people stop when it gets too complex when it comes to musical theory. Which is why I try to avoid it and will normally teach around songs that the individual would like to learn, and it is tailored to their abilities. I do weave in theory but it is intergraded in a simplistic way to learning a certain song.
My Lessons are for all ages and abilities and they typically last for an hour, but the timings can be adjusted to suit your needs. The lessons are relaxed to help make a comfortable environment in an effort to provide good quality learning.
I have personally instructed and taught dozens of students in Kenya as part of the Youth Theatre of Kenya's educational branch, in-between writing the music for the shows.
