About Ria
I am 20 year old Student studying in Bath, and love to teach. I have been tutoring and working with young adults for around 4 years now and have found it to a be a very rewarding job.
Knowledge is power in the real-world, subjects that may feel irrelevant can become the basis for something much bigger. I hope to strengthen the foundation of your knowledge and pass on tips and tricks that were useful for me during my GCSE's.

Hi there,
My name is Ria.
I am an enthusiastic and adaptable tutor. I achieved grade 7 (A) in Math at GCSE. From here I am doing a Business and Accountancy degree.
As a former student myself, I understand the common mistakes and difficulties that students make, and want to help them understand.
Furthermore, I have used curriculums like Edexcel and OCR where I can give exam based questions and ready students for their GCSE.
I use active learning techniques whilst personalizing my teaching methods for each student. I will start off by understanding the current level of their knowledge and build onto that with explanations, examples and questions.
I make Math relatable and give questions that are applicable to the real world. This is to allow students to grasp complex thoughts and understand the process in a clearer way.
My lessons would range from 1 hour to 1 and a half hour with a small break in between. This length depends on the students individual needs and their prior knowledge.
