Female UK top 40 young mathematician (2014) undergraduate Accounting student gives lessons to primary and secondary students. Will help with 11+, SATs, GCSEs and just general help for KS3 students. Lessons will be fun with examples and explanations as well as recap of previous lessons to start the lessons off and Q&A's to end.
Student mentor throughout KS4 and KS5, roughly 3 years. Mentoring lower school students who were struggling as well as year 11 students about to sit their GCSEs. This would consist of one to one sessions as well as group sessions and assisting teachers in lessons.

Representing the school buy touring and looking after visitors such as interview candidates, representatives from companies such as Kuehne and Nagel and Deloitte. Additionally I tutored key stage 3 and 4 students in Maths and Business this furthered my subject knowledge in both areas. Both of these positions helped to develop my communication and leadership skills
Empire Enterprise September 2015-February 2016 Position: Recruitment Assistant
Main duties involved: Sending and Responding to emails received from applicants. Reviewing CV’s sent to the business and then contacting applicants via telephone to offer them an interview. This job gave me responsibility as I had to work from home showing I have self-motivation.
Superdrug Store November 2014 -February 2015
Position: Sales Assistant
Main duties involved: Working on tills giving me sales skills due to promotional selling of ‘starbuys’ and meeting targets. Also giving me customer service skills while serving on tills and helping customers on the shop floor. Other duties included stock filling, facing up and cashing up after the store closed giving me responsibility and showing I am trustworthy.
Highly confident with using IT software such as Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel. A vast amount of use of the internet and social media.
Good communication skills developed from customer service experience and my role as a school ambassador.
Working in teams in various situations such as, on the shop floor, on school and university projects and team competitions at Oxford mathematics summer school and dance performances, has allowed me to develop my team work skills and understand how to deal with different situations regarding different people.
