About Jack
I acquired my ESL teaching certificate with ACE-TESOL in 2021. I actively work as an English tutor for children. Besides teaching, I work as a freelance translator for Chinese-English content and vice versa. I am also fascinated with technology and have a minor presence online as a content creator in my off time, so if you enjoy the Internet as much as I do, we could have lots to talk about!

I am a very conversational person and I love to talk with you and listen to you! I love getting my learners to be more active while learning the ropes of how to speak English, so if you would love to learn authentic, real-life English used by people who already speak the language, you've come to the right place!
I can use a textbook of your choosing or simply be your conversation partner, but I am also well-versed in the grammatical side of things. I like to do discussion-based lessons quite a lot, and I enjoy giving learners the freedom to focus on what they want. I'm here to help you.
Whether you are just starting to learn English or are a veteran who wants to perfect your skills in specific areas, I will always try my best to accommodate to your individual needs. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and can hold basic conversations in Japanese too!
