About Cameron
Having studied sports science at The University of Bath for a year, I decided to terminate my studies as I did not believe this was the right course for me. I am now taking a gap year before I go back to University next year to study Law. All throughout school Latin was by far my favourite subject, my peers, amongst whom Latin was not such a popular subject, were often bemused by my eccentric passion for the subject. I have always maintained that Latin is an inherently beautiful and fun language. With help from my amazing teachers I was able to achieve a grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A level, whilst studying at St James Senior Boys School, and Reed's School. I am now looking to share my passion for the subject whilst helping students to achieve top grades.

My teaching methodology is all about making Latin fun! Having achieved an A* at A level, I understand that Latin translations can, at times, be quite overwhelming! I look to help students by breaking down all the separate components which make up a sentence, establishing first the key parts, and building up piece by piece, much like putting together the pieces of a puzzle. Moreover at the age of 20 I look to connect with students on a personal level, and am passionate about breaking down misconceptions of Latin being a difficult and boring subject. My skills make me an ideal person to help students at GCSE level or below, I have previously briefly tutored GCSE biology, so do have experience in tutoring. I can teach both 1 hour and 2 hour lessons.
