About Elizabeth
The smell of fresh fretboard oil and the soft hum of an acoustic guitar set the scene for our time together. My BMus from Trinity Laban ensures that every musical concept we cover has a firm theoretical foundation. 335 students have walked through these doors to build their skills over the last 11 years. We might spend 10 minutes on scales before moving into sophisticated songwriting structures.
I teach you how to hear the music before your fingers touch the strings. You will notice how the theory connects directly to your playing. A technical approach leads to better results.

Tuning and maintenance are the first things I cover when a new student brings their instrument into my studio. My 11 years of experience taught me how to guide intermediate learners through complex theory and songwriting.
Working professionals often come to me to refine their acoustic technique after a long day at the office. Many adult students want to understand the mechanics behind a chord progression. I emphasise fretboard clarity.
I enjoy breaking down fingerpicking patterns into manageable pieces. Graded exam preparation remains a primary focus for many. You will find my teaching style is patient and very steady. I prefer to keep things practical rather than overly academic.
