About Mike
I've been registered with HMRC as a professional guitar tutor since 2005. A member of the Musicians Union, I have a DBS and have taught for 10 years as a peripatetic in schools and colleges. I've also taught other subjects online and in college following teacher training. I'm very used to teaching a huge variety of people and I enjoy teaching while sharing a love of music and songs.
I've fronted my own bands since the 1990s having played, sung and written songs since childhood. I've also played continuously in pubs, at weddings, at corporate events, arts venues, on BBC radio, at festivals, cafes and private parties. I've also worked as a soloist singer/guitarist for Princess Cruises, run stages at festivals and recorded numerous albums and EPs.
