About Everett
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience helping high school students, college learners, and adults learn guitar from beginner level. Over the years, I have successfully trained around 300 students and helped many of them become confident in their guitar playing.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and making lessons simple to understand. I believe that when students enjoy learning, they improve faster and stay motivated. In my classes, students learn important guitar techniques such as chord practice, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, and finger techniques.
These fundamentals help students build strong playing skills and improve steadily. I also encourage students to learn songs they like so that they can apply their skills in a fun and practical way. Teaching many students has given me valuable experience in understanding different learning styles and adapting lessons accordingly.
Some of my students have even performed in school and college events after building their confidence. My goal is to help students learn guitar comfortably and enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching methodology for Guitar focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and practical. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, musical interests, and current skill level so I can adapt the lessons to their learning style.
Students start with essential Guitar techniques such as chord shapes, chord transitions, basic strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger coordination. I explain each concept clearly and demonstrate techniques step by step so students can practise with confidence.
I also use real-life examples from popular songs to show how Guitar techniques are used in actual music. In addition to Guitar playing, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and simple songwriting.
These topics help students understand music more deeply. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning environment where students can steadily improve their Guitar skills and musical confidence.
