About Rachel
I am a multi-instrumentalist and musical director originally hailing from Germany, having now lived in the UK since 2017. I began with exclusively classical training, and eventually broadened to musical theatre and jazz. I now predominantly work in MT-related fields, however I also have experience composing and producing for straight theatre, film, pop, and electronic music.

I aim to help intermediate and advanced singers (ages 15+) build a solid repertoire of material to be used for performances, auditions, and more. I will work through this material from the perspective of creating a coherent scene and storyline, and I will discuss how to implement singing techniques to serve this goal.
I will draw from my experience as a musical director throughout the UK, with a Masters from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and a bachelor degree from University of Edinburgh. I now teach at several well-respected drama schools in and around London, as well as MDing shows as a freelancer.
I recommend 30 or 45-minute lessons for intermediate MT performers, and 45 or 60-minute lessons for advanced MT performers, however I leave this to the discretion of the student.
