About Johnny
I'm a NYC-based DJ and music producer with over 15 years of professional experience. I've released 70+ tracks across 10+ genres, toured 90+ cities across North America, and made my international debut in Berlin. My background spans live performance, studio engineering, mixing, and mastering. Before producing electronic music, I fronted a touring band, which gave me a deep understanding of music from multiple angles. I'm currently an active touring DJ and producer, and when I'm not on the road, I'm at home in Brooklyn spending time with my family. I know how to break down complex ideas into concepts that actually stick, no matter your experience level.

My lessons are hands-on and built around your goals, whether you want to DJ, produce original music, or learn Ableton from scratch. I teach all levels, from total beginners to students looking to refine their sound and workflow. Every session is personalized and we work on what matters to you, at your pace. I also work with younger students and make the learning process fun and accessible. With a background in live performance, mixing, mastering, and studio engineering, I bring real professional experience into every lesson. I can also walk you through the full process of releasing your own music. I've taken students from never having made a track to putting out their first EP.
