About Alexa

I’m an actuarial analyst working in Life and Health insurance. I have a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics and a Masters degree in Actuarial Mathematics. I have also worked as a sessional instructor at my university in Canada.

My teaching methodology is typically finding ways to apply the subject matter to real life scenarios and getting everyone actively involved. Making mathematics more relatable for students has proven elective in both my individual tutoring and large class lecturing environments.
