About Lyla
13 years of teaching in secondary schools informs my methodical approach to language instruction. My Master of Arts in Hispanic and French Studies from King's College London provides the rigorous academic foundation I apply to every session. I provide free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes for all my students. Helping you achieve your specific linguistic goals is the primary focus of my work.

Grammar often trips up even the most diligent students. It is a hurdle that requires systematic deconstruction rather than guesswork.
My instruction covers verb conjugation and role play alongside dialogue practice and business French. I incorporate listening practice, reading comprehension, and writing skills to ensure balanced progress.
Exam preparation for DELF or DALF remains a core competency. Interview preparation and conversational fluency are also available. Idioms and expressions bring your language use to life. I look forward to refining your French skills with calm precision.
