About Elizabeth
Providing clear feedback on pacing ensures that vocal development stays healthy and consistent throughout our work together. I handle progress reports plainly and directly to keep momentum high. My practice centres on breathing control, head and chest voice, and specific belting technique to build strength without strain. We spend time on tone and resonance alongside carefully curated warm up exercises to protect the voice.
Because I value transparency, you receive free access to my personal breathing and warm up exercise notes for home study. My 9 years of experience inform how I structure these sessions to balance immediate technical needs with long term musical growth. Singing in the Welsh National Opera pathway defines my artistic perspective and shapes how I communicate vocal mechanics to others. I admit that my focus on technical rigour often stems from my own early training as a demanding student.
My BMus in Voice provides the foundation for coaching choral scholarship candidates and preparing young artists for conservatoire auditions in the UK. I support a wide range of individuals from absolute beginners discovering their range to advanced performers refining their stagecraft. These 9 years of teaching experience allow me to demystify complex concepts for those navigating ABRSM and Trinity grades.
My approach remains grounded in the reality of the industry while remaining kind and motivating during every interaction. Results matter as much as the integrity of the sound.
