About Victoria
I am beginning my first year at the University of Sheffield studying Sociology. However, I miss the art of English Literature and hope to fulfil my passion through tutoring! At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in English Literature and an 8 in English Language, following a recent grade B in A Level English Literature. Throughout sixth form I tutored both a year 9 and year 10 student to prepare them to begin their GCSE studies, I loved sharing the knowledge and revision that was still fresh in my mind.

I aim to provide GCSE students with a broken down version of the mark scheme, so they fully understand what achieves marks in their exam. With this knowledge, students will learn how to develop an idea into a critically evaluative argument by discussion and consideration of the author's intention. To do this, information of contextual knowledge of their text will be taught as well as how to use literary concepts and terminology.
