About Akshatha
Akshatha has been involved with dance for over 18 years both learning and performing.
Akshatha D has always been dedicated and committed to Dance and Music from a tender age. With a passion to learn Kathak,she joined EARTHA- Elements of Arts and Heritage Academy, Degree college ,Bengaluru , where she studied under the tutelage of Guru Roopa Ravindran. She is also learning folk dance forms. Akshatha began her training in Bharathanatyam at the young age . She has also been trained in Carnatic music.
She has performed extensively to appreciative audiences in India and dubai at many prestigious festival along with her Guru Roopa Ravindran as a main dancer. To mention a few -Natyanjali Festival,tamil nadu,India- Chidambaram, Karur, Malyadudurai, Pandanallur , Kumbakonam, Brahan Natyanjali festival -Thanjavur, Dubai International Dance festival, Dubai, Dasara Celebrations, Suttar mutt centenary celebrations ,Mysuru District, karnataka, India, Mysore university centenary celebrations, Mysuru, Bengaluru Central University inaugural, Bengaluru and many more..
She has completed BA Degree in Kathak at EARTHA – Elements Of Art And Heritage Academy ,Bangalore University in june 2018.
She is also a software engineer by profession

Depending on the experience and interest of the student , the course is customized specifically for each student to cater best to each one.
Students are also taught to write notation and also learn to sing with taals.
Dance based theory is taught so students can build a strong foundation not only practically ,but also through theory.
