About Jenny
I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University. In Spring 2024 I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. I chose my degree because of my love for Chemistry and Math.
I worked for Michigan State University's Department of Mathematics as an undergraduate learning assistant. For this role, I attended class lectures, prepared recitations, and lead tutoring sessions. I taught three courses at MSU: MTH103A, MTH103B, and MTH116.

I believe that the best manner to teach math is through breaking down problems. By working through practice problems, I believe that I can breakdown any math problem into simple steps.
My lessons are intended for high school or college students looking to improve in algebra and precalculus. Lessons focus around practice and homework problems. I will provide a shared screen where I can write out steps of the solution as the student and I work. I also can provide help on studying methods and tips to remember different algebraic conventions.
I have a strong fundamental understanding of algebra and its different functions. I have extensive experience tutoring one on one with students.
