About Alice
My name is Alice Crotty and I have been dancing for nearly my entire life! I am currently an undergrad at Bard College where I am studying dance and sociology! During high school, I attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts half-day program where I acquired a conservatory-style dance education. I also played a large part at my home dance studio where I led younger classes and began my experience with choreography! I made it a point to build connections with all dancers and emphasize the joy that can be found within movement while still caring about technique!

I am incredibly understanding and patient which makes me a perfect choice for any and every student, regardless of skill level or age! In terms of ballet, I will focus on technique and aim to build a strong foundation at the barre while doing exercises with them and leading by example! These lessons are best for typically younger dancers who have a bit of background in ballet but in no way have begun to master it! We can focus on balance, proper turnout, alignment, building for more pirouettes, etc.
