About Sherrelle Kathleen
I'm very respectful, enthusiastic and I have a drive to learn as much as I do to teach. I see life as a gigantic classroom and even though it sounds cliché, it's not cliché to me. It is my truth, my reality. I always tell people that the day I stop learning is the day I start to die. That's me in a nutshell and I want to teach you, in essence, how to be excited about learning and how to see the world as a child and how to wonder about the how's and why's behind what makes the world work . I will have to make the classes show clearly how that applies to the subjects I'm tutoring you in but I know my end game is what one of my college teachers taught me in web design of all things. That is "to learn how to learn". Because once you've got that in your back pocket, you can learn almost anything you want. After you learn how, you actually end up wanting to learn. That's my goal with potential students and because I love English so much, that's where I want to start on here. A teacher who has passion and a fire within them is far better to have than ones without. I'm fired up and raring to go!

I've always had a passion for languages and my father taught me to read and write by the time I was 3 and 1/2 and I was closing in on Grade 4 reading level when I went into kindergarten. My extensive vocabulary in English is something that I'm truly excited to share with ESL students. I've excelled in that area most of my life, just with friends instead of students.
I think learning a new language is easier when you're able to use the words and terms to your world around you. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to help students master English by making their classes relevant to them and what's happening to them generally at that point in their lives. It makes keep concepts easier to grasp and in turn, remember.
I've got a good grasp and respect for timezones so I'm very flexible when it comes to students all around the world. I'm familiar with technology so I'll have the necessary requirements to provide video meetings, recordings, translations, etc. I look forward to working in the world of virtual education. Mainly though? I look forward to meeting you!
