I am a university graduate from the Philippines with a strong command of Tagalog and a passion for helping others learn the language. As a native Filipino speaker, I provide authentic lessons that focus on real-life communication, proper pronunciation, grammar, and everyday expressions.

I am committed to creating a professional, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Every lesson is well-prepared and tailored to each student's goals, whether they are learning Tagalog for travel, work, family, or personal interest.

My priority is to help students gain confidence in speaking and understanding Tagalog through engaging, practical, and interactive lessons. I believe that with the right guidance and consistent practice, anyone can successfully lead.

About the lesson

My approach as a Tagalog tutor is to make learning the language simple, practical, and enjoyable. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and encouraged, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where they can practice speaking without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to help students develop confidence in using Tagalog in everyday conversations while building a strong foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and sentence construction.

Teaching Method and Techniques

I use a student-centered approach that adapts to each learner's level, goals, and learning style. Lessons include interactive conversations, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, reading exercises, listening activities, and grammar explained in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I also incorporate real-life situations, role-playing, visual aids, and cultural insights to help students understand not only the language but also how it is naturally used by native speakers.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Each lesson begins with a short review of previous topics to reinforce learning. I then introduce new vocabulary, expressions, or grammar points before guiding students through pronunciation and sentence-building activities. Students practice what they have learned through conversations, reading passages, listening exercises, and interactive activities. Every lesson ends with a summary, feedback, and optional practice exercises to strengthen their skills before the next session.
