My trumpet lessons are designed to help students build strong technical skills while developing creativity, confidence, and a genuine love for music. Every lesson is customised according to your experience, learning style, and musical interests, making it suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced performers.
We begin by focusing on proper posture, breathing techniques, embouchure formation, tone production, articulation, finger coordination, rhythm, and note reading to establish a solid musical foundation. As students progress, lessons include scales, flexibility exercises, lip slurs, range development, dynamics, phrasing, sight reading, and expressive interpretation.
Advanced students work on orchestral excerpts, solo repertoire, jazz improvisation, ensemble performance, audition preparation, and advanced technical studies. Music theory, ear training, listening skills, and structured practice routines are integrated into every lesson to strengthen overall musicianship.
I provide detailed feedback, personalised exercises, and practical performance tips that encourage continuous improvement. My supportive teaching style creates a motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges, and achieving their musical goals while enjoying every lesson.
