About Jace
As a violin tutor with 8 years of experience, I have successfully taught around 300 students from different age groups, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching approach is based on patience, flexibility, and encouragement, as I believe every student learns in a unique way.
I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, while also encouraging students to enjoy the process of learning music. I design lessons according to each student’s level and goals, ensuring steady progress.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in their playing. My goal is to make learning violin both enjoyable and effective.

I teach violin with a focus on communication, individualised guidance, and hands-on learning. I assess each student’s learning style, abilities, and goals to adapt lessons for maximum understanding and enjoyment.
I cover essential techniques such as posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and musical expression while encouraging creativity and personal interpretation. I incorporate real-life examples like performing favourite songs, practising for recitals, and exploring music’s emotional storytelling to make lessons meaningful and engaging.
Alongside violin, I include music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide comprehensive musical education. My goal is to create a motivating and enjoyable environment where students build confidence, skills, and a love for music.
