About Rosalind
With 6 years of experience in violin teaching, I have helped many students develop their skills and confidence in music. I teach students from school, college, and working backgrounds, guiding them through each stage of their learning journey. My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, clarity, and regular practice.
I believe that learning violin should be enjoyable and easy to understand. I start with strong basics such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, and note reading. As students progress, I introduce advanced lessons and help them improve their musical expression.
I use practical exercises and structured lessons to make learning easier. I have successfully taught more than 150 students, many of whom have shown great progress. I maintain a positive and encouraging environment. My aim is to help students build confidence and enjoy music.

I aim to make violin learning simple, structured, and enjoyable for every student. I use real-life examples and demonstrations to explain musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and expression so students can understand them clearly. I focus on essential skills such as posture, bowing techniques, scales, and tone production, ensuring students build a strong base.
I follow a gradual and organised approach and make sure students understand each concept before progressing further. I maintain open communication and create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions.
I provide clear explanations and regular feedback. I follow values like honesty, discipline, and commitment. Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and basic composition.
