About Amelia
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have a mix of teaching experience from teaching children from the age of 3 in a group setting up to adult professionals on a one to one setting. I've taught in businesses, in schools and in coffee shops and homes!

Hello there, my name is Amelia. I am a personable, dynamic and creative tutor. I love helping and inspiring people to enjoy learning and become more confident in their subject.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am an English (TEFL), English ( literature, language, writing) and acting tutor. I work as a professional actor alongside tutoring, teaching and producing.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA Hons degree (2:1) in English Studies from Oxford Brookes University, a Masters in Acting from East 15 Acting School and I am CELTA qualified (pass B) from International House, London. I lived and worked in Madrid, Spain between 2014 - 2016 where I taught English (TEFL), led drama workshops and acted in a children's theatre tour.
- How much do you charge?
I always like to meet prospective students free of charge for a coffee (on me).
- Where do you teach?
I am happy to teach in the students' homes, my home or in a cafe / other location if preferable. I am based in East London - I am happy to travel to central or near to East London. Further than that would incur a small extra fee for travel.
- When are you available?
I am available Wednesday daytime / evenings,
Thursday daytime / evenings,
Weekends with flexibility.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
At the moment I am teaching mainly adults for EFL but happy to teach all levels and ages. I have experience teaching early years through to young adults and adults.
