About Tori
I am a journalist who is also studying to receive my TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certificate. I have five years experience working in the media industry which has given me great insight into the written and spoken elements of the English language. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Mississippi in 2018. I believe that my practical experience will make me a great help to anyone who needs help with writing or speaking in English!

I am an English as a foreign language instructor who will begin teaching high school students in Shanghai, China this spring. I specialize in teenage and adult learners who are looking to improve their spoken and written English.
My lessons for beginners encourage development on reading, writing, comprehension and speaking skills.
For intermediate and advanced learners I focus on expanding and perfecting written and spoken English skills, with an emphasis on business and practical conversation.
I am very flexible with the lesson plan preferences and learning styles of my students. Above all, I believe that learning should be fun!
