About Jackie
Hi, I'm Jackie!
I am an English tutor with over 8 years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and language levels. I am deeply passionate about helping students become more confident, fluent, and comfortable using English in real-world situations. My work is centered on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to practice, make progress, and develop skills they can actually use.
Alongside my teaching work, I bring a background as a professional photographer and documentarian. Spending years working across different countries and cultures has shaped my appreciation for language as a tool for connection, expression, and storytelling. This experience informs how I teach English today, with an emphasis on communication, cultural awareness, and helping students find their own voice in the language.
