About Amir
Hi, I’m Amir, a Civil Engineering & Architecture student at the University of Sydney. I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence, clarity, and success in Math and Physics. Over the years, I’ve mentored and tutored senior high school students, guiding them not only in understanding course content but also in developing effective study habits, exam strategies, and future pathways.
I take a structured, student-focused approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to each individual’s strengths and goals. My aim is to make learning engaging, practical, and achievable, so students feel confident tackling challenges in the classroom and beyond.
With experience as an Engineering Peer Mentor at USYD and a strong academic record in Math, Physics, and other HSC subjects, I bring both credibility and understanding to every session. I also provide guidance on subject selection, HSC planning, and university applications, helping students make informed decisions about their studies and future.
I offer both in-person (Inner Sydney) and online lessons for Year 10–12 students, focusing on building both competence and confidence.

Develop personalized study strategies and tips to help students prepare efficiently for tests and exams.
Support students beyond content, including subject selection, HSC planning, and university application guidance.
Typical Lesson Structure:
5–10 min: review previous work / address questions
30–35 min: teach new concepts with worked examples
15–20 min: practice problems and exam-style questions
5 min: summarize key points and set study tasks
