About Shahim
I am a Structural Engineer with a strong academic foundation and 6 years of professional experience in both structural design and site execution, having completed my masters degree in 2018. My hands-on exposure to real-world projects—ranging from low-rise residential to mid-rise commercial buildings—has equipped me with a deep understanding of structural behavior, construction methodologies, and relevant design standards.
Over the years, I have worked extensively on the structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures using software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and SAFE. I am proficient in preparing structural drawings, interpreting design codes, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, which allows me to offer students a practical, application-oriented perspective on structural engineering concepts.
My objective as an educator is to share practical structural engineering insights, instill strong technical fundamentals, and mentor students to become capable, industry-ready professionals. I am passionate about teaching and committed to contributing to the academic growth of future structural engineers by delivering quality education grounded in professional experience.
