About Mia
I am an undergraduate in psychology at Hull university with a grade A in psychology A level (AQA). After my degree I want to complete my masters and eventually specialise. I am also an athlete specialising in 400m hurdles. I believe I am a friendly, determined, hardworking individual which Is expressed through my regular training and time studying at university.
As a previous A level student, I am aware of how much work goes into each subject and how it can affect your confidence when exams don’t always go to plan. I believe that with the experience of A levels and future plans in psychology, I can help you achieve your desired goals as well as improve your confidence in your exams.

Our first session will focus on communicating about your strengths and weaknesses towards the psychology course. For example, which modules you find the most challenging or how you would approach an exam question.
Most importantly, this session gives me an insight into what grade you would like to achieve aswell as what learning methods work most effective for you.
If choosing to go ahead with the tutoring, together we would create goals to focus on each week with each session having a specific target to meet these goals.
I will set work when needed, as I believe regular exam practice is the most efficient way to see progress . However, I am aware A level work is very time consuming so these assignments will only happen sparingly as a progress goal.
Duration of lessons are flexible to suit the student.
