About Tara
For me, learning in a classroom was always in competition with my classmates which made learning mentally exhausting. I always found that 1:1 sessions made learning more enjoyable and interesting to me - I was able to disassociate the subject from the pressures and instead have fun.
I'm a student myself with an intense love of and interest in English, and especially how it can impact and inform young people and tutoring would not just be a way of doing something I am interested in but also a way of sharing my fascination and enjoyment with my students and, hopefully, helping them find the same.

My main priority when tutoring is always to tailor my sessions to what my student will benefit best from - as a student myself,
I know everyone learns differently and I aim to work to the pace and needs of the individual.
My lessons are aimed primarily at GCSE English students but am open to A-level students as well. I have been tutoring students since I was 16 in these areas and acquired 9s in both English Literature and Language GCSE and an A in English Language and B in Literature at A-level. Lessons lengths can be tailed to your need but maximum of a hour.
