As I have recently completed my GCSEs and A-levels, I am up to date with content and appreciate the worry that maths may cause. I have experience helping younger students in university with maths, providing learning and revision resources. I structure the sessions by going through important examples, then you will have a chance to work through a lot of questions. I will provide a lot of questions and provide revision resources which you can complete outside of sessions and I can assist in the following session. I will show you different methods of solving maths problems so you can choose the one that works best for you. The key to success in maths is by doing as many practice questions as possible so I will provide you with a bank of questions during and out of the tutoring sessions (consisting of exam-styled questions). I can provide optional homework, where we will spend time on the answers in the following session. This will allow you to consolidate what we go through in the sessions. I will provide you with a sheet of the topics you’ll face in the curriculum and ask you to highlight any weaknesses, however, this can change as we go along! I will send a copy of examples and various methods to you, so you can go over it as you wish.
