About Sedra
I have over 3 years experience with teaching children and young adults Arabic and standard English. I am both a native Arabic and English speaker, with a passion for teaching languages! I also teach the Arabic Qaida for children so they are able to read the Qura’an.

My teaching framework for Arabic is to start with the basic phonetics of the alphabet and then work through the Qaida book, as well using verses from the Qura’an to help them further.
I aim to ensure that the lessons I provide are engaging, interactive and informative.

She has taught my daughter and son for the past 5 months and they are nearly finished with the Qaeda book and have made amazing progress - they are now able to read some short surahs from the Quran fluently! I wasn’t keen on online lessons but she interacts with the children so well it’s as good as an in-person lesson!
